Managed Health Care
There are many different types of managed care plans.  Simply put, a managed health care plan is an insurance plan that contracts with health care providers and medical facilities to provide care for members at reduced costs.  These members makeup the plan's network.  How much of your care the plan will pay for depends on the network's rules.  Restrictive plans generally cost you less; more flexible plans cost more.  Our Benefits Specialists will help you find the right plan that suits your needs at the most competitive price.

Flexible Benefits
Flexible benefits are voluntary benefits that allow employees to pay certain expenses from their pre-tax income rather than their post-tax income.  Some examples include accident, sickness, and critical care policies.  Our Benefits Specialists will help you promote, implement, and enroll employees in flexible benefits plans.

One reflection of Marsh & McLennan Agency's standing in the insurance industry is the preferred relationship we maintain with major insurance carriers like Anthem, Humana, and United Healthcare.  In addition, we are able to work with alternative carriers to find a plan to fit your needs.

Alternative Funding
Marsh & McLennan Agency offers alternative funding approaches that provide employers with options to help control their health care costs.  Our Benefits Specialists will work with you to explore the best approach for your organization.  Alternative funding programs include captives, self-funding, and risk retention groups.

Executive Benefits
At Marsh & McLennan Agency, we understand that you want to retain your top executives and reward them for their contribution to your company's success.  Offering executive benefits is one way to do this.  Our Benefits Specialists can help you decide which benefits you want to offer.  Some examples of these benefits are:  bonus arrangements, supplemental executive retirement plans and severance plans, split dollar arrangements, and non-qualified deferred compensation plans.

Supplemental Benefits
These are extra or additional benefits that you can purchase to pay for services and out-of-pocket expenses that your regular insurance program does not cover.  These benefits include Medigap, critical care/illness, and accidental death insurance.

Life Insurance
Whether it's term life insurance for a specific period of time or permanent life insurance for a lifetime, we can find your employees the right policy with the most appropriate insurance carrier.  We first ask the employee, "What do you want your life insurance to do for you?"  Based on their specific answers, we will devise a life insurance plan to suit their needs. 

Disability Insurance
Disability insurance is income protection.  If sickness or injury causes an employee to miss work for an extended period of time, would they like their income to continue so they can meet their financial obligations?  Most individuals would answer yes.  Your employees' standard of living could be greatly impacted if they do not fully prepare for a long-term disability.  We have the expertise to help build your employees' income protection plan.

Long-Term Care Insurance
Long-term care situations can create devastating consequences for a family.  Requiring care for the most basic of daily activities (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, maintaining continence) can interrupt even the strongest of financial plans.  Long-term care is expensive, but that doesn't mean long-term care insurance is as well.  We are fully capable in providing both traditional long-term care insurance, as well as the many asset-based long-term care options that are now very popular.  Regardless of the option chosen, we can help your employees create an affordable plan.
